About Me

I’m a 28 year old, born and raised Virginia girl who somehow found her way to Alabama and never looked back. I met my husband in college, and five years of marriage later, we’ve built a life filled with love, purpose, and five precious boys - three we get to hold here on earth, and two who live in heaven and continue to shape our hearts every single day.

Two of our boys came to us through adoption from foster care, a journey that changed us forever. And the unimaginable loss of our sons, Ryker and Mason, is what breathed life into R&M Photography. This business carries their names, but it also carries their story. A reminder of how fragile and sacred the gift of life truly is.

Motherhood, loss, adoption, healing - all of it has taught me that the small, everyday moments are the ones we cling to. That’s why this work means so much to me. It’s not just about pretty photos, it’s about preserving connection, freezing seasons that pass too quickly, and honoring the stories that make each family unique.

I’ve poured my entire heart into creating a warm, peaceful studio designed specifically for new mamas and their precious babies. Every detail was chosen with intention. Soft light, calming colors, cozy spaces - all crafted to help you feel at ease the moment you walk in. My prayer is that this studio feels like a deep breath. A place where you are seen, supported, and cared for in a season that deserves gentleness.

Whether you're welcoming your first baby or adding to your growing family, it would be an honor to walk alongside you and serve you during this beautiful chapter of life. I can’t wait to capture the love that fills your home, your arms, and your story!

"One Saturday afternoon, not even an hour after talking about whether we wanted to have photos taken, I received a message from Carson about His Grace, with Love, Ryker & Mason. I immediately broke down in tears. It was an answered prayer and testimony that God will put the right people in your lives when you need them. It means the world to us to have these special memories and to have someone patient and understanding of our story."
